Born October 31, 1948, I'm a very fast reader.  Collect cookbooks and fiction. I am a history buff, I have worked for Colonial Williamsburg in the past, and hate it when authors don't do their basic research and get the facts wrong, like potatoe soup for norsemen, trash cans in the 18th century, tea in England during the middle ages and so on.  And the same goes for the movies; someone saying "Miss" in Italy during the 15th centure (Ladyhawk), using the wrong type of clothing in public, the woman wearing a shift in public (The Patriot), that was underwear in the 18th century.  I know, I pickey (and I can't spell good), but things like that ruin a book or movie for me.
